Terms of Use

Acceptance

AskRigor is a product operated by Mayan Roots LLC. In these terms, “AskRigor,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the AskRigor service and Mayan Roots LLC as its operator. By using AskRigor, you accept these Terms of Use. Connected research also requires the mode choice below. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

AskRigor retrieves public provider data and provenance for a connected client and does not modify provider records. Its separate shared-proposal operation can store only the deidentified structured research progress described below. The separate public evidence-gap form stores a pseudonymous participant-reported case when a visitor chooses to submit one; it does not create a participant account or establish that any event caused an outcome. A separate, expressly approved lesson Action may create private feedback for human review and does not automatically change AskRigor.

Free contributor and paid private modes

Free AskRigor research is a reciprocal product. To use it, you must explicitly agree that eligible deidentified structured research progress from your use may be submitted for AskRigor’s private review and shared living-evidence repository. This may include formal-source questions, search coverage, source candidates and decisions, unresolved trails, and AskRigor-authored study or review analysis. It excludes raw chat, prompts, your identity or contact details, private health narratives, uploads, raw source or provider bodies, credentials, and YouTube or community content. A proposal is not evidence or an accepted conclusion merely because it is submitted. If you do not agree to free contributor mode, connected research requires paid private mode. Paid private mode contributes nothing to the shared repository and is available only to an account with an active verified entitlement. AskRigor currently offers no public price or checkout for that mode.

Shared research contributions

You grant AskRigor permission to store, review, validate, combine, correct, and reuse an eligible deidentified structured proposal submitted under free contributor mode to improve the shared research repository and future AskRigor research. You remain responsible for submitting only material you have the right to provide. AskRigor may reject, narrow, correct, or decline to use a proposal and does not promise attribution, publication, compensation, or a particular outcome. Partial formal corpora remain labeled partial. Revoking access withdraws proposals still pending review; already accepted deidentified research history may be retained with its provenance and corrections rather than silently rewritten.

Evidence-gap contributions

Submit only information you have the right to provide. Do not include another person’s direct identifiers, credentials, or records without lawful authority. Contributions may be incomplete and remain labeled partial, participant-reported, and unverified. If you permit private GPT analysis, the bounded review path and its redaction limits are described in the Privacy Notice. The case ID and recovery key control inspection and withdrawal; you are responsible for protecting them.

Permitted use

Use AskRigor only for lawful use, consistent with these terms, provider terms, and any applicable rate limits.

YouTube API Services

AskRigor uses YouTube API Services for read-only public-data retrieval. By using AskRigor features that use YouTube API Services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, available at the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s processing of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. AskRigor does not provide YouTube account-management or write functionality.

Prohibited use

Do not use the service to violate law or rights, evade rate limits or access controls, interfere with providers, submit credentials or unnecessary direct identifiers, impersonate a participant, or represent retrieved or submitted material as a guaranteed conclusion.

Research and professional-advice boundary

AskRigor provides no medical, legal, or financial advice. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace qualified professional judgment.

Third-party services and content

AskRigor retrieves third-party provider data. Providers may change, limit, delay, remove, or correct their services and content under their own terms.

Availability and changes

The service is offered as available and may change, pause, or end without notice. We do not make a response-time, uptime, or availability promise.

Intellectual property

AskRigor and its original site materials remain protected as applicable. Third-party content remains subject to its respective rights and terms.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AskRigor is provided without warranties, including that retrieved data will be complete, current, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AskRigor is not liable for decisions or outcomes based on retrieved data, provider content, or service availability.

Severability

If a provision is unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above identifies the current version.
